Bronson Caves in Hollywood

Bronson Bat Caves

Up in Griffith Park a hundred years ago there was a rock quarry called Brush Canyon. It supplied materials for the streets of LA. When it closed a few caves were left behind. It has become a famous filming destination. Most famously known for being the 'Batcave' in the original Batman series.

There is sometimes a lot of nature to see up here if you hit it at the right time of the day. You may just run into a fox, deer, or coyote. The caves are quite neat to explore and be sure to bring your phone for some awesome photo ops. The parking is free at the Bronson Canyon entrance to Griffith Park. You’ve find the caves about 5 minutes up the dirt trail near the lot.

Griffith Park Beer Garden in LA

If you’ve been following us closely you know that we have mad love for Griffith Park and all it has to offer. Starting this weekend the urban oasis is getting even better with the opening of ‘ The Griffith Park Beer Garden ’. We didn’t think the park could get any better, but we were wrong!

On Saturdays this summer the Roosevelt Café in Griffith Park will be turning into a pop-up beer garden serving only the best local craft beers like Golden Road’s 'Tart Mango Cart' Wheat Ale.

Screen Shot 2017-05-13 at 9.29.35 PM.png Some of the menu items from the Roosevelt Café will still be available for order, but we suggest taking advantage of the signature pop-up food special. Bike Paths in Los Angeles That You Must Ride

Pacific Coast Bike Path

Pacific Coast/Marvin Braude Bike Path

This is one of the most stunning paths in Los Angeles county in our opinion. This bike path mixes salty fresh ocean air, striking views of mountains, sand, and sun. Riding along the Pacific Coast is one of the greatest pleasures in life. This 22-mile path stretches from Pacific Palisades to Torrance Beach. Bring your family to this one if you want since the conditions can be super mellow and the ride is flat. Do be aware that the path is interrupted twice in Marina Del Rey and in Hermosa. The best way around this is to take Washington Blvd. in Marina Del Rey and The Strand in Hermosa.
